I made a decision to receive Christ as my savior in 1988. I was at the time working as an accountant after having completed my education at the University of Nairobi.

My initial exposure to ministry was with Women ministries at both Charles New Methodist church and the Nairobi Chapel which opened my eyes to the need for leadership development as a whole. I left my job to get better trained to be able to train others in 1995. To date, I have been involved in leadership training in Africa.

I am a certified trainer with EQUIP a ministry of John C Maxwell in Africa. I am also a trainer for the Purpose Driven Ministries with Rick Warren under the International Christian ministries. I trained for both organizations for three years.

Currently I am engaged with More than a Mile Deep, an organization whose mandate is to develop contextual African training curriculum for the development of church leaders in Africa. I serve as General Manager with the specific task of training facilitators and coordinating the training of assessors and writers in our seven locations in Africa.
More Than a Mile Deep has identified the Vision conference as the entry point for all students enrolling for our training program. In that respect I have been trained as a trainer for the Vision Conference. I have so far been involved in the training of media owners in Africa.

I am also engaged with the Government of Kenya as a consultant in the recently launched strategic leadership initiative, which seeks to develop leadership skills in Senior civil servants in line with strategies for the implementation of vision 2030. I have handled models of leadership for the 21st century civil service, leadership mindsets and attitudes, Strategic thinking, Effective leadership communication, role modeling, coaching and mentoring organization culture and the management of change, all in the context of corporate governance.

Over time I have developed a passion for leadership development that is contextual and empowering. I therefore seek to bring innovative and practical application to situational competence development in all my training exposures.
