I was born on the 5th of April 1966. I did graduate in 1988 with BA in Philosophy from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. After graduation, I served my country as a high school teacher and administrative personnel for five and a half years. |

In June 1994, I joined International Bible Society- NorthEASTERN AFRICA (now IBS-Ethiopia) and served on the Amharic Bible Translation project as a translator/reviewer and as Administrative Assistant. |

In January 2001, I changed my ministry direction and joined Evangelical Churches Fellowship of Ethiopia Wholistic Ministry Department. I served the Lord as trainer and assistant coordinator until the end of January 2004. |

Then after, I returned to International Bible Society-Ethiopia and now working as acting National Director. |

I am married to Rahel Asheber on May 27, 1995. |

While I was in the University, I was participating actively in the Christian Students’ Fellowship. And after the leaving the Campus, I am participating in interdenominational evangelistic activities. I am also serving the Lord as an elder in my local church and member of the regional and national executive committees of my denomination. |
